International Excellence Award for Teachers Broadcast

Jamaica, November 1, 2012Every year, Heritage International Scholarship Trust Foundation honours deserving teachers in early childhood education who are going above and beyond in their classrooms to make a difference in the lives of their students, their school and their communities at large.

This year, four teachers were selected for the award of US$1,000 each, three in Jamaica and one in the Bahamas. On October 2, 2012, a presentation ceremony was held at the Terra Nova hotel in Kingston, Jamaica, to honour three outstanding teachers:

Aldith Stephens: Esher Primary, Lucea, Hanover
Cloetha Walker: Hazard Primary, May Pen, Clarendon
Terry-Ann Wellington: Gwen Neil's Basic, Central Village, St. Catherine

Heritage had the privilege and the honour of having the Minister of Education, Ronald Thwaites, as guest speaker. The ceremony was aired and will be broadcasted this Friday, November 2 at 6:00 pm on Flow Channel 115 as well as on Starcom Channel 5. You are encouraged to tune in and watch this inspiring presentation.

Thank you for partnering with Heritage Education Funds International to assist in securing a bright future for the child/children you have enrolled into the Heritage Plan. One day they will thank you for this most precious gift.

Sincerely,
